In other words, just in time for the 2006 elections, Karl Rove and The Bush administration are going to introduce their own strategic redeployment plan, which looks very much like the democrats plan.
At that point, what will Democrats say?

If the choice is between red redeployment and blue redeployment, there's no important difference. It's important to come up with CLEAR policy differences--differences that every American will basically understand.
My personal preference: international cooperation. It's actually what we want. Why not say so?

Put it another way: how many swing voter will pick strategic-redeployment blue plan over strategic redeploment red plan? If there's no CLEAR policy difference moving forward that won't leave most Americans scratching their heads, the answer is pretty clear: most won't.
