Message has been my thing for 10 years. Our guys are just too "smart" to stay on message.
Look at "bush is a strong leader" and how that came about. They said it about themselves for about a year or two. They made sure to do polls on it. Then the media took the wording they were using about themselves and included it in their own polls.
Bush is then considered a "strong leader."
Put another way: coke spends millions developing an ad -- the words, the images, everything.
They don't air it once.
You would think this way of approaching politics was some sort foul when looking at how Democrats operate. Some brand new technology that boggles the mind. But they've been doing it to us since Nixon yet we act surprised everytime it works.
Man I hate our side right now.

Doesn't mean I didn't go vote for Dean in this one... just that I think the term "Freep" is more appropriate for deceptive acts... and the term "Kos" deserves to be associated with more positive things.
