        I love you anyway, have for ages. I think it's great you and Richie tore their asses a new one. I imagine Richie, no matter what his political affiliation, gets sick of listening to armchair generals, especially STUPID armchair generals.
        I just sent out money for another Wounded Warrior backpack. If anybody is interested, the link is here. For $99, a wounded soldier gets a backpack with clothes, a CD player, a calling card and toiletries, so that they have something of their own (they usually arrive at the medical centers with nothing). Hopefully, some injured soldier will get it soon and realize that people DO care about what happened to him.
        I never know what to say in the message they can tuck into the backpack, so I just said "Thank you. Stay strong, stay positive."

  I'm a little too young to remember the aftermath of Vietnam, but I know our returning vets were not treated with respect. I wonder if the tables will be turned now -- if those who put their lives on the line in Iraq will scorn and shame those who stayed home.
