  •  Quickie C&J (none)
because my boss scheduled an hours-long meeting for the rest of the morning. Clearly he's not a C&Jer.

So, with some leftovers from yesterday...

CHEERS to everyone who braved the heat and humidity to participate in or watch Saturday's Boston Pride March. The Boston Globe reported 8000 marchers and over 200000 onlookers. CHEERS to the many local Unitarian Universalist churches, who banded together to form a group at least 500 strong and more than a city block long.  Take a look, we are proud members of the Religious Left!

TEARS for, and a celebration of the life of, Thestral's pootie Demon-Kitty, who went to Rainbow Bridge on Friday.

    JEERS to mad cows.

CHEERS to the Senate for finally apologizing for delaying anti-lynching legislation for decades and decades.  Better late than never, I guess.

CHEERS to Howard Dean, for saying what others are too afraid/controlled by lobbyists/inhibited/cowardly to say.  You speak for me.

CHEERS that the fricking MJ trial is over.  <pimp>Head here for a great diary on stuff the media should be covering. </pimp - although MB needs no pimping!>

off to see the boss, back later to dispense mojo.

Glad you had what sounds like a good time at Boston's Pride Parade... Hope to catch up with you guys sometime down the road...

      •  July 9th... (none)
I've been meaning to ask NE folks if organizing a July 9th picnic/music at the Hatch Shell sounds like a plan.  We could meet a couple of hours before the show starts (7pm) to allow chatting and also people who don't want to come for the music could still attend. It'd be free, fun (I hope!) and I can vouch for at least the opening act (Beatlejuice).

Whaddya think, should I get with the organizing?

In a strange and perverse way, I'm glad to see I wasn't the only one with mouse-coordination problems today :-)

        •  I'd be up for that!!! (none)
And hopefully that wouldn't be my moving weekend, but actually I'm gonna get started on that this weekend... a friend offered storage & a truck to get me started... I'm lovin' how good people are just freakin' getting better lately...

I'd need a place to stay (getting a hotel is so booooring...), but I come with impeccable references!! :)
