How would Miller find out the identity of a covert CIA agent? Someone had to have told her unless she broke into the CIA to get the records.

      But Miller was also 'in bed' with pentagon sources at the Office for Special Plans, the unit tasked with sifting RAW WMD intelligence for things they could build into a case for war. Someone within the OSP used Miller to burn a competing WMD intelligence network AND payback Wilson for messing up their Niger disinformation.

  She covered WMD for the New York Times. Plame was an agent involved in searching for WMD. Miller had a lot of sources who most likely had CIA connections.
  I don't find it that far of a reach that Miller learned of Plame's identity.
