1) One of my favorite human beings ever, Kurt Vonnegut, was just on The Daily Show. Catch the rerun tomorrow if you can (or just watch it tonight if you're in the appropriate time zone). He's old and breathing heavy (might be the cigarettes) but he's still the incarnation of curmudgeonliness and human kindness. I love that man and felt blessed to see him and Jon talking together. I hope someday TDS expands to 45 minutes or an hour so Jon can actually interview some of these guests.

2) Thursday at 8 am CDT, on The Ideas Network (webcast here) on WI public radio, George Galloway is scheduled to be the guest. It's a call-in show so here's your chance to upbraid Mr Galloway for making Bush's Man in Minnesota look like a weasel. You can take Mr Galloway to task for being so fearlessly honest in his criticism of the war in Iraq. His appearance is apparently unconfirmed so check here as the time approaches.
