Which pro-choice democrats do we go after (none / 0)

There are no doubt pro-choice democrats NARAL endorses, who will be voting for Roberts. Why no request to contact NARAL about them?

  Abortion-rights group urges no on Roberts
  An abortion-rights group plans to deliver petitions to Sen. Ken Salazar's Colorado office today urging him to oppose the nomination of Judge John Roberts to become chief justice of the U.S. Supreme Court.
  Salazar, a Democrat, is undecided on Roberts' nomination to the lifetime appointment.
  NARAL Pro-Choice Colorado is urging Salazar to vote no, saying the recently completed Senate Judiciary Committee hearings "confirmed our belief that John Roberts would fundamentally diminish our existing right to privacy," according to a release from interim Executive Director Meg Froelich.
  The group says it collected more than 8,000 names on its petitions.

    I want to know which pro-choice democrats who are endorsed by NARAL, we should be contacting NARAL about. Shouldn't their endorsements be pulled too?

  but in this instance, NARAL endorsed Lincoln Chafee (who can no longer claim with a straight face to be pro-choice) over two strongly pro-choice Democrats.

    here. Everybody is pissed off at NARAL for endorsing Chafee. I never see the same anger at them for endorsing democrats who voted for Brown, etc....

      that in Chafee's case, there are two opponents of his who would CLEARLY be better on the issue ofo choice. I don't want to in any way excuse the unexcusable, but in most cases where Democrats vote for Brown, I'd be willing to bet that they do not have pro-choice opponents (since their opponents are Republicans).

        not fair. Sorry to be such a crank on this issue, but I have felt there was a great deal of hypocricy in the anger at NARAL. They may or may not pull their endorsement of Chafee, but I for one APPLAUD their policy of endorsing the encumbent in a non partisan manner. If that was not their policy they would be useless as an advocacy group.

        But they should at least endorse a pro-choice incumbent. How can you defend their endorsement of Lincoln Chafee when he doesn't vote the way NARAL wants him to on the most important vote for the issue?
