Apparently, he was on CNN and said that this morning.
Also adding the story from Meet the Press this morning from Broussard talking about the man whose mother called him every day from a nursing home in St. Bernard's Parrish asking when someone was coming to get her.
THE WOMAN DROWNED FRIDAY NIGHT AFTER BUSH VISITED NEW ORLEANS. Think about that.

    Rp, I know this is a small thing but the Cavalry was supposed to arrive-the Freudian slip-hell the whole Freudian lingerie shop is to mistake CALVARY, where Jesus was crucified , with CAVALRY, combat troops,originally mounted on horses who traditionally are sent in to the rescue. It really resembles calvary more though doesn't it? Cruelly inflicted pain,death and endless sorrow.

        Rp has calvary in the diary and the President of Jefferson parrish said Calvary several times in his heartbreaking description on MTP. I don't think this is a mistake. Calvary is what was indeed visited upon these people-they were ABANDONED by the government.

        I think it was a mistake. He meant cavalry. One phrase he used a couple of times was "hooves of the calvary."
        But you're right Calvary was visited on these people.

        Obviously, it was a slip of his tongue--he meant "cavalry," which was clear when he talked later about how just now (Sunday) they're starting to hear hoofbeats.
        But my god, if ever there was a freudian slip that revealed a deeper truth, that was it. It was Calvary, and it was Bush who washed his hands of the people of New Orleans.
