i travel with two dogs - one has severe separation anxiety (my rescue sammy) and i need a daytime "sitter" for him. already planning to m-six it since motel six in area is good about pets. have stayed there once before, but during hot part of day, i need place for dogs to "visit". monterey has doggie day care center - was hoping for same for vegas. just wondering - and if you are checking other stuff - maybe you'd have time to check this.
the riviera says on one site they take pets, then on their own, they say no. could you double check just for sure?
thanks.

Many results.
I rescued a sammy once. Smidge was a great girl.
She liked cats. My girlfriend at the time had a mostly white long hair. Smidge would sniff his butt on the cat's way by. Too bad the skunk in the neighborhood looked and walked the same way.
Great way to wake up in the morning when we let her in!

i've had them since 1970 - mostly in multiples though i'm with one sam and one belgian shepherd/modesto streetwalker mix right now.
you have to be a very "special" person to have been accepted by a sammy - they are very VERY picky - only the proper sucker will do! ;^)
my first sammies and my cat had a funny game - the cat would attack their tails when they walked by - they'd always let it "drop" for her to catch.
she, in turn, would "feed" them by going onto counters and taking a cookie at a time and walk over to the edge and drop it to my male. the sammies would NEVER take anything from the counter - but they would cheerily let the cat "feed" them!
i'm so hooked, i can't imagine life without a critter that stays ten steps ahead of you and makes you love it!

this group puts EVERY PENNY it gets into the sams - operations for bad hips, skin disorders, anything the little darlings need - and they are always "returnable" to the fosters (which are the members of the org).
truth is, this is an organization totally owned and run by the dogs!
i'm glad to bring up the memories - i'm sure they are plentiful - as any sammy owned-by can attest!
