You little blogger you. ;)  Probably the absolute best thing I've seen that lays out the enormity of expense for military versus expenditures for everything else is the Ben and Jerry video where he uses oreo cookies to represent dollar amounts. The visuals are staggering. Talking about trillions of dollars has no real meaning to most people because the numbers are so huge we have no personal reference to go by, but anyone can see the difference between 1 cookie with a bite out of it, and a stack of cookies 40 feet tall.
