Good diary. But every time I read about how folks all over the country have figured out that Howie and his gang are trying to screw their states, I shudder when I think about how invisible Howie's Proposition 90 has been in California.  We see an occasional article or two, but there is no great hue or cry about the Proposition. I fear it could pass because voters won't see the takings Trojan Horse in the fine print.  Prop 90 is opposed by a rare coalition of local governments, chambers of commerce and progressive interest groups. Hardly anyone knows that. God help us if it passes. We get about 600,000-650,000 more people in California every year. Over time, more and more of them are going to be living in the Central Valley. Prop 90 kisses farmland preservation goodbye. And that's just one of its downsides.
