Allen loses on the issues too. He's a rubberstamp for Bush. At least Virginia's senior senator (John Warner) is capable of critical thinking. That's not a quality that Senator Macacawitz has.

  We know Allen won't ever run for President. He's beating himself up so often that he'll never get any serious backing in a Presidential bid. Wikipedia still has him listed as a potential candidate for '08 - guess I'll need to edit that.
