I think it was a critical catalyst in this election.  I think when the state was willing to say, "we'll take out one of our own for siding with Bush and then we're taking out all the Republicans too", it struck fear into the right wing and energized the rest of America to come out fighting mad.

You guys done good and taught the rest of the country how to proceed.  We all owe Lamont and his "fighters" a huge debt, IMHO.
