First, we have press accounts of coerced contributions from MZM employees in early 2002:
A third former employee of MZM described being rounded up along with other employees one afternoon in the company's Washington headquarters and told to write a check with the political recipient standing by. The former employee didn't give the name of the politician receiving the donations.
It's clear from the article that Goode received forced contributions, but not clear whether or not he is the guy standing by as $2,000 checks are squeezed out of MZM employees.
Second, Waldo has shown a striking pattern in Goode's MZM contributions: all of the money came in one short burst. And these employees essentially had never given money to a candidate before.
Third, Goode has himself described being at a "fundraiser" at MZM offices in March 2005 in which employees lined up to hand him $2,000 checks (!).
Put them all together and it's just obvious that he knew very well that they were coerced.
