The Bush administration's position on this issue is clear.  More cheap labor, not only in other parts of the world, but here in the US as well

As I posted in a diary this morning which was deleted. This is not only the Bush position. This is the Feinstein position, this is the Clinton position, this is the Leahy position, this is the Kennedy position, this is the Reid position, this is the Pelosi position ... and on, and on, and on.

Whether the issue is cheap labor thru illegal immigration, or cheap labor thru the H1B/L1 visa program (read scam), the term 'cheap labor Republican' really has no meaning, because there are just as many 'cheap labor Democrats'.

It gives me no pleasure to say this - I am, and always have been, a Democrat. The truth is the truth however and it only makes us all the more guilty of the hypocrisy we so often accuse the Republicans of to pretend otherwise.

So much for the theory that the Democrat party supports American middle class workers. I swear the next time I hear some fool telling me how the Democrat party is the party of "little guy" and is the party of "Labor" I'll punch his lights out. According to some of the articles I've posted the only hope in stopping this lies with the rank and file Republicans in the House. - jgm)
