Loved that testy attitude to the questioner asking what he gave up Lent, or on what matter he felt he may have need for penance.  Apparently, religion is supposed to be very, very private, and not a matter for public life...hmmm.  

I'd hate to think he's just punching the ol spiritual time clock and putting in his time for appearances sake.

I suspect we'll be seeing some spin control coming out by end of day.  Most Christians (and all reasonable people) aren't going to see this sort of testiness and hostility as the proper way to represent the faith, especially on the church steps.
