    will there be any kind of dance event happening as part of the convention? Or are we expected to gamble every night?

    I would love to whirl around the dance floor with some of my fave Kossacks to the tune of "Don't Stop" or "Love Train."

    I may start a diary of requests for tunes with dedications.

      There are 2 official YK events.  One on Thurs. night and one on Sat. night.  Both are cocktail-like receptions from around 8pm - midnight.

      There are several other events happening on Friday evening.  Timroff is hosting an ePluribusMedia Happy Hour in his room.  Jack Carter is having an event.  And I believe there are more to be announced.  I just told my husband that with all the work and happenings I'll be doing, I'll be lucky if I have the chance to drop $5.

      I say go for the diary of music requests.  Very few here actually have the same taste in music that I do and 3 of them aren't going to YK.  Trying to find someone who can play something this whole community likes is an uphill battle.  Trying to find a dj to play something that won't make me retch is near impossible.

      Outta here, I don't deal well with sites that condone racism.
