I can tell you that how drastically American image has changed in the last ten years. From being a beacon of freedom US is viewed right now exactly like the rabid communist empire ruled by ideologues used to be viewed. If there is any reason behind our foreign policy people of Eastern Europe and Central Asia don't see it. All the see is a superpower driven by ideology rather than common sense.
