Republicans in this state are absolutely incapable of accomplishing real improvements in the economy, education and health care because they are so venal and so corrupt that their focus has been almost entirely on selling themselves to the highest bidder. So they have to distract voters with "moral" issues bills (ban all abortions, no gay adoption) or trivia ("choose life" license plates! regulating the distance a lapdancer must stay from her clients!)

The problem with governance is Ohio is that there basically is none, none that's effective and serving the citizens, anyway.
