his "mohawk-a" see, it's right there, underneath the rest of his hair.

someone simultaneously pull of the mohawk and the reverse-mohawk. Its really quite remarkeable. And yet, amazingly subtle.

He obviously has a mohawk haircut in this picture.

So where's the mohawk? When was the picture taken? Does he have a mohawk now?

This is not a spur-of-the-moment reference. This is what the Allen gang has been calling Mr. Sidarth.
Wadhams said Allen campaign staffers had begun calling Sidarth "mohawk" because of a haircut Wadhams said the Webb staffer has. "Macaca was just a variation of that," Wadhams said.
Washington Post article
The "mohawk" reference was absurd. I guess they don't think fast on their feet. The take-away info is the fact that they have been calling him "Macaca."

thanks for this post- I am starting to get a more well rounded idea of what occured within a context- and its started to add up to a racial incident. the quote a lone wasn't enough.

This is a handsome young man -- so attractive that, heaven forbid, he might attract white female attention. Certainly can't condone miscegenation in Felix' Amurrikah.

He certainly attracted this white male's attention. I wonder how Felix would feel about brown on white man on man?
OK... I'm going to pipe down before I get Rick Santorum all hot'n'bothered...
