I mean the chants and the signs placed in the hands of children who are used in their protests that I find so sick and harmful.

These are very young children with cherubic faces who seem deprived of innocense all too soon.  They get thrown out in the middle of what their parents and extended families refer to as war.

It really gets to me about as much as the cruelty exhibited toward the survivers who have lost a family member or friend.  During the 80s it was young men who were suspected to have died from AIDS and now it is families who have lost a son, daughter, sister, brother, or friend to the conflict in the Middle East.
