And we do a poor job of creating and pushing the themes.  Instead we are reactive.  A little reaction is good.  You can use their words against them and reaction requires less creativity.  But with a predominate strategy of reaction, the other side is never on the defensive.

His call to create imaginative opposition frames that maintain the values of the majority of Americans instead of just tinkering with (and defending against) the Republican ones should be a major goal of an electoral task force.
