Just look at the numbers; the average voting score card from Disabled American Veterans for:

Republican Congressmen: 25%
Democratic Congressmen: 91%

Republican Senators: 19%
Democratic Senators: 78%

Is your freind an NRA member? Ask if he would vote for someone with a 25% NRA voting scorecard.

Then have him look up his own representatives:
Here for Congress.
Here for Senate..

Veterans are finally catching on. Here's an example
