Last I heard he said he wouldn't be a Cheney. I'd love to stick him to Edwards or Gore, but I don't think either Edwards or Gore would want to be a VP candidate again.

that's what his son posted too.. I'm afraid it will be all or nothing but I hope the General keeps the option open for his country. There are some people I really do not want to see on the ticket as vp like vilsac or warner.

I mean how many presidential hopefuls start out saying "I want to be VP." They all want to be president, and they shoot for it, but in the end, a lot of them will take a VP nod with the hope that they will be the successor when the main guy steps down.

I want his eloquence and class as the Presidential candidate.
And if someone beats him, I'm thinking many people have "they wouldn't," but when presented with the opportunity to be 2nd in command of this Nation, have changed their minds.
But we'll cross that bridge later.
