the fox in a stellar production of "Henny-penny." I had two lines, of which I remember only, "Yip, yip, yip...the sky is falling! Let us go and tell the king!" I did not bite off anyone's head--must have been the Disney (boo-hiss) version. Cheers, everybody.

it's raining outside, so yes, the sky is currently falling...according to Danger Kitty. Her favorite place to be is on the porch...curled up in the corner.

why is she "Danger Kitty"?

But she got the nickname Danger Kitty because of her penchant for getting into some very sticky and somewhat dangerous situations without blinking an eye...or twitching a tail for that matter.
A case in point happened the other morning at Oh Damn Early in the morning:
Danger Kitty is living up to her nickname. Waaaay too early this morning I awoke to an odd ticking noise. Turns out that Shadow managed to wiggle herself between the sliding storm window and the screen in my bedroom window. In order to adjust the lack of space, she managed to get a portion of the 'snap in and secure' screen to come out of its slot and move...uh...outwards. My room is 3 floors above the ground...one floor above the wood deck. When I got her out of her predicament and re-attached the screen...oh and shut the window, she jumped back up onto the sill and meowed to get the window re-opened.
