it'd be this one. Why do you have a big water fountain in a desert town? To show off? Can't that water be diverted before you start raiding WI for water?

I plan to retire and look out on Lake Michigan in my golden years, assuming someone hasn't decided to pump it dry. The Great Lakes are already under stress. Desert people will need to stop the golfing or pay for the reverse osmosis/gray water systems to keep it going. Hold the line til I get up there, ok? :)

upscale resorts springing up in desert or near desert areas from San Antonio to Phoenix. All of them feature...you guessed it, golf and waterparks. Last I heard, the geniuses at one of these in San Antonio were putting an underlayment in as part of the golf course that would prevent aquifer recharge.
Looks like we need a stupid water use tax to go along with that carbon tax.
