I can honestly say that I've never been offended by anyone's attire (well, except the black leather chaps wearing gentleman at the SF Gay Pride Parade who also had no pants on, and I personally regard that as more of an exhibitionism thing than an attire thing).
The victorious strategist only seeks battle after the victory has been won, whereas he who is destined to defeat first fights and afterwards looks for victory.
