These KKK and brownshirt tactics of Levin and company have to be confronted head on.
I shall not rest until right wing conservatives are 4th party gadflies limited to offering minor corrections on legislation once or twice a year.

brutality, intimidation, and incitements to violence, the essence of their Mob Ideology has been exposed. You are correct to call in the Police, attorneys, public advocates, Kossacks and anyone you can, to stop them. Here's one iteration of their intimidation, from Hannity's mentor:
Limbaugh continued: "[W]e found out who was writing it and made a couple phone calls to the person writing it. And we said, ‘You know what? We’re going to find out where your kids go to school. We’re going to find out who you knocked up in high school. We’re going to find out what drugs you used. We’re going to find out where you go to drink and do — we’re gonna find out how you paid for your house. We’re going to do — and we’re going to do exact — and we’re going to say that, you know what? You are no different than Al Goldstein. You both masturbate.’ "

Their party core is a core of hatred.
I would continue to encourage everyone to use their superpowers for good, not evil, even though "evil" now seems to require less congressional oversight.

old fashion bully tactics to inflict fear and terror in those they oppose or want to shut down. They will do harm given the opportunity and yet if you even attempt to call them on it, they whine and cry like the biggest babies you have ever heard - they are the first to run to the police and to call an attorney and tell the world how the big bad person tried to hurt them. More often than not they are just posturing with the intent of inflicting fear. They dish it out big time all over the airwaves but in no way can they take it from someone else. Whimps, bullies, that is what they are! Christian, they ain't! Some followers are scary because for some reason people listen to them and react as instructed by them. That is sad and scary!

Better definition of bullies I've never seen.
There are many ways to deal with bullies, but in the long run the most effective is to stand up to them, and to confront them head-on. Nine times out of ten they will burst into tears or run away whining.

...and no administration since at least Nixon's has more embodied that thugishness and outright "eff you, common pissants" than our current one.
No wonder the Levins of the nation think they can act this way; he probably thinks something like "Next stop, White House."

You know, the jocks that harassed the nerds in high school.
I'm not surprised that they're so scared of Dave, that they'll call on their legion of brownshirts to do damage.
All forms of Conservatism belong in the trash heap of history and not anywhere near our schools, government or society.
by Brad007 on Tue Nov 27, 2007 at 06:23:52 AM PDT
...jocks have enough confidence in themselves to know they're doing something that's appreciated, and don't bother nerds.
What Loopy Levin and his gang of socially retarded goons are are wannabes - people who can't do anything that's appreciated by the majority of people, so they get their jollies by bullying others.

Theres a line between RW policy and RW extremism, while the GOP and co are to be disliked for moronic policies and their stupid behaviour. If they were honest, not hypocritical, hateful in the extreme and even some of them indicted or convicted criminals there woundnt be the metaphysical hate directed at them. Liberals/ progressives laugh and are much amused, when the GOP hypocrites careers crash and burn, but we dont go around doing or advocating the thug thing.
Morality is the single most important issue.

Has Levin alrready commited illegal acts, just in this broadcast? Using a public forum in such a way as to invite violence and retribution against a private citizen must break at least one criminal law, Dave. Have you consulted the police yet? We don't want to see you hurt.
Clearly Levin's words are slanderous. No reasonable jury could conclude otherwise in a civil case. I hope you're preparing your lawsuit as we comment today. Let us know where to contribute to the Legal Offense Fund.

first we need diaries that are written with information that makes sense to the outside person from this blog and those of us not on the blog beltway. (If I were to send any of this post to any of my friends they would never understand any of it) I don't know who davefromqueens is or who many of the people named in this diary are. I don't want to listen to the link as I am not sure what it really is. But some of this diary seems to have some raw material that someone else could do some investigating and come back with something that makes sense. I have a sense from the many responses that something bad is happening here by the right wing but I have no idea what it is. I do think it is worth investigating.

the easiest way to find out the gist of the story is go back and read Dave's diaries on the subject. That way you'll get a idea of the depth of feeling we Kossacks have in this matter. As someone said below, it's like a 'Dave on the Road' saga as the story keeps growing.

yes I agree, eveyone should do primary research if they want to catch up on a story but I think when a diary is recommended then it is up to the diarist to do some basic elemental reporting -- I know that sounds old school marm, but I think it gets people away from the name dropping and insider feel that most new people don't keep up with. e.g. I went to the Link he said the audio was located but there were lots of stories on that link and it could have taken me a good twenty minutes to find out what the link was about. Who is Levin? Perhaps some background as he writes his diary would be helpful. Who are the right wing goons, What state and city is this bookstore located.
even your response was a bit insider... if you suggest something like go back and read his diaries, then suggest how you even do this (for me and others who might want to follow your advice, who might be new to this blog system)
I just think some simple catch up reporting, reason for links, etc, is always more friendly when doing these stories. This sounds like it could be a fascinating story but perhaps there could be a diarist obudsman that explains the insider of each story -- catch up somewhere -- for those who come here once or twice a day but not here all the time.

I appreciate your reply. I didn't mean to sound like an insider but I'm on here quite a bit so I'm pretty up to date on Dave's story. Adigal did a great job in summarizing Dave's story in a comment below. She did a much better job than I could have done:
From adigal He went to a Mark Levin book signing to ask him a question. Hannity's manager called the police - they were in a "No Question Zone" obviously. Dave is considering legal action against them for various reasons. Levin is losing his mind, and he is upping the ante by calling on his listeners to harass Dave at home and his place of business.
Dave never even got to ask a question before the police detained him.
You bring up an excellent point for those that haven't followed the story. Perhaps in future diaries, DavefromQueens could put a background synopsis for those that don't know the whole story.
