Basically your saying that the people of that district are too lazy to mount a challenge to a recalcitrant incumbent and you need a law to get rid of them. That's just lazy.

If people in any given district actually had to think about their choices when a term was over for an elected official, then they may actually start to take notice and become better informed. Note I say may.
What we have now are voters who will take the lazy route and just give up because so and so has been elected and re-elected for so long why bother?

the voters of this country that trying and failing is a lot more satisfying than not trying at all. Besides sometimes you might actually knock off a asshat or two. Wouldn't that feel good? Also my rep is Keith Ellison. I want him in DC for as long as possible so screw term limits.

... human nature -- good or bad. No system is immune to jiggering or corruption. Term limits kinda suck, and I'm opposed to them in principle -- BUT, they've forced a number of Goopers out of office here in Montana. They thought they'd be "promoted" to higher ofice, but tee hee (f***ing) hee.
