  I can't figure that one out--that paper is crazy right. Why are they backing McCain? I guess it shows the emptiness on the republican side this year.

  I thought it was a very telling statement in the DM Register, "As a survivor of torture, [McCain] has stood resolutely against it."
  
  It declares the complete immorality of the Republican party. A Republican has to actually be a victim of torture to be against it.
