People in Obama's campaign view moderates and moderate conservatives as misguided souls, fellow citizens and voters, who will soon be put gently on the path to equality and justice, not as cartoon opponents who must be trashed, ridiculed and put down at every available opportunity.
Its called being "politic".

We were so wrong to call him an apologist for warmongering and attacks on the working class.
The Obama folks are right. I take it all back and promise to be more hopeful in the future.

I'll take accepting Brooks endorsement over Hillary's WalMart Board membership or Edwards offshore income and support of the class-busting Bancruptcy law any day.

the world has turned upside down.
Guess what. Kossacks continue to be very rude. I am for Obama, but I'm not a Kossack.

Bobo is Brooks' nickname. "Obobo" is a play on that and I saw no comparison to "Sambo". Could we at least keep the conversation out of the gutter.

of Bonobo, a type of monkey. So calling Obama "Obobo" was a macaca thing.
I'd say it was not a good joke in any event if at least two of us found distasteful and racist comparisons.

too much into it. JMO. However, the "Sambo" comment was, to me, over the top. We agree to disagree. :-)

What are storm clouds, if not 'dark'?
If there another reason you insinerted the superflous adjective 'dark'?
Hopefully, concerned Kossacks will get to the bottom of that.

Storm clouds can be black or white, even dark white.
by Norwegian Chef on Tue Dec 18, 2007 at 12:02:39 AM PDT
Folks who live in Tornado Alley can tell you about all kinds of exotic-colored storm clouds. Yellow, greenish-grey, purple, red, you name it. The greenish-grey ones are notoriously dangerous.

Growing up in Tampa, I got to see more than a few such colorful thunderstorms myself (we don't have quite as many tornadoes as Tornado Alley, of course, but we also don't have basements or cellars to shelter in, either!). There's nothing like the feeling you get when you look up and around and the entire sky is... sick.
