I am sorry for the loss of your father, I'm glad that you took the opportunity of talking to him as often as you did. Still, losing a parent, so close to the holiday season is difficult.

  I'm glad you got a sense of him, and his era. There are so many stories like his that should be told.
  
  One very nice thing was that about 35 former campers from their camp threw him a 90th birthday party last year. It's of course great to be recognized when you're still alive!
