    Remember folks this is a value progressives are supposedly FOR not AGAINST. But anyone not agreeing with the "Anyone But Hillary" theme is being driven away. Is this really what this site wants to stand for? Right now....this is a "Support Obama" site. Edwards folks are tolerated. Hillary supporters are shunned. Folks are fleeing to other more democratic sites. This should be a site for discussion and debate. But it has become sadly...just the opposite.

        but I don't think Occam applies.
        
        I have talked to many, many old timers and they have stopped coming here. The one reason universally given...candidate diaries.
        
        I've seen people make comments that they will try to come back when we have the nominee, some say they may not. I've thought about doing the same (return post nominee).
        
        Hopefully the loss of the candidate ratings wars will help, but those diaries are, IMO having a big influence on site traffic.
        
        If it works I'll stick around.

        I hate the candidate diaries as well. I have a preferred candidate in this race, but I do not consider the alternatives to be the agents of Satan.
