Seriously, don't blame me that you're the five hundredth person to claim that there's better things to be talking about. I went to a more substantive diary, got the exact same complaints, and instead of commiserating, you gave me yet another shitload of guff on another ground.
Why don't you diary policy meet at the precint house and come up with some rules, and until then, stop putting me in a position where I damned if I do and damned if I dont. Until then, I'll just put up with EENR on the rec list again without comment.
It's a people-powered movement of individuals. So just say it yourself and stop calling on Obama to be your puppet.

We are all part of this site. As such, we are all in a position to try and change the dynamic.
With each rec we give to a substantive diary, we can change that dynamic.
I'm not putting you in any position. You've put yourself in the position of being one of the advocates for your candidate on this site. We can make a positive, dare I say...progressive, change to shift the dialogue. It's our choice what we rec. It's your choice how you respond to people.
If we want honest answers to our questions, we need to approach people with an open mind to that answer...not just look for the 'gotcha' moment.
We can remember that there are people on this site...they aren't just names on a screen that you can dismiss.
You can also call your own fellow partisans on stuff. I've seen people with questions get TRd out of existence...and told that they're smoking shit for even asking the question. That's no way to approach folks...not when you're trying to get people to vote for your candidate.
The same goes for the other camps...and I, like others, have called on them to stop. You've seen that.
I don't expect you, in specific, to be the only person to recognize this. But there been diaries...daily...asking for everyone to calm down and chill on the tribalism that seems to have taken root.

recently. One time I got called, blah blah Clinton supporter, blah blah, just because I dismissed the diary as, basically hackery, and then I got accused of run on sentaces. But seriously, I try to remain some what reasoned, sometimes I slip though.
