I'm pretty sure that the NYT won't push for it. For reasons that I still can't fathom, there's a real reluctance to call these people what they clearly are. I occasionally wonder what this WH would have to do for Beltway insiders to acknowledge what kind of people they really are.
Some men see things as they are and ask why. I see things that never were and ask why not?

The Village idiots will never fully turn on the Bush crowd, not while they're still in office. A quiet consensus will possibly emerge a few years after they're comfortably settled in cushy private jobs, but it'll all be old news by then, so why bring it up now?
