Clinton is off to the races after the cash, and Obama needs a boatload to win.

Clinton isn't accepting public campaign funding, a topic I wrote about earlier today. Which means she theoretically will be able to out-spend him, if he does accept public financing. He needs to get going now, and move with his momentum. The day he announced, I wrote to the campaign, volunteering to do anything and everything I can here in Utah to help get that momentum going, including any geek/tech/programming types of things. I've yet to hear back. That worries me that he might actually lose some of the momentum he's already got. I sure hope not, I want to see him in the position of leader of the free world.

      •  He hasn't formally announced, though. (0+ / 0-)

Given that he is in his "exploratory" phase, there are certain limits to what he can/can't do.

Wait until he formally announces on February 10th.  Then make sure he utilizes your skills!

I would have expected some sort of email response, even if it was pre-packaged. I guess I meant I hope his campaign is more organized.

          •  Sure you got the right e-maill addy to them? (0+ / 0-)

B/c I get stuff from them quite a bit...and I just signed up for informational purposes.

            •  I Get "Stuff" Too (0+ / 0-)

But, the things I get are the mass emails they send to everyone on the list. I've not gotten a typical "thanks for writing, we got your email and will consider it" auto-response to the one I sent. I checked around and the only email they've made public is the "info@" one. I'll be trying again, though.

              •  I see. (0+ / 0-)

Well, give it time and keep at 'em.  I suspect they've got probably millions of people just like you that they have to respond to.  Persistance pays off in the long run.
