military now, I would they would ALL simultaneously come forward and OPENLY announce their homosexuality. Considering we're in the middle of Bush's so-called surge, and they're so desperate for boots on the ground, they're sending soldiers back who haven't fully recovered from wounds! I doubt they will kick out tens of thousands of gay troops at once and then we can finally put this bullshit to bed and move on like the militaries of most of our allies have!

but that's a "backdoor" maneuver that perhaps Congress should investigate as to apply pressure to this adminstration.
You get something like that happening, we won't need to cut funds.
