owned by Gannett (like Shreveport) or McClatchy, Cox, Hearst, Morris, Media General, Schurz, Lee Enterprises, and Scripps might.
Emailing the corporate HQs is sometimes as effective, if not more effective, than the editor/contact.
They all work for corporate bosses.

I cringe whenever I hear that paper's name.
It likely goes back to those few weeks I spent working a temporary job selling subscriptions. Talk about futile...

I see Scaife as a pick-up opportunity. Word is that he has awoken to find that what he wished for turned out to be worse than Clinton. I continue to believe that getting what they asked for has made many arch conservatives sick to their stomach, Scaife included.

And among the advertisers who bailed were some which have been closely identified with the extreme right.
