Almost did my own diary, but checked first.  Glad I did.

That Bush uses the troops for purely political purposes, or as his own "purple pill" should not be lost on the public at large.  Of course, I'm not counting on the Media Heathers to point this out.

    Of course, this isn't political:

    nor is this:

      From the AP story:

Col. Dave Lapan, a Marine Corps spokesman, said Kokesh is under administrative review because he wore his uniform at a political event, which is prohibited. And, Lapan said, when a senior officer told Kokesh that he violated military regulations, Kokesh used an obscenity and indicated he would not comply with the rules.

"It's the political activity that is prohibited, not the type of event that it was," Lapan said. "If it had been a pro-war rally, it would still have been a violation."

Google "bush, military base, speech" and take your pick of 1,280,000 articles.  As Junior never passes up a chance to tout his splendid little war in front of uniformed personnel, aren't these appearances  "pro-war rallies?"

I guess that admin review board's gonna be pretty busy looking into those soldiers, sailors, marines, airmen and guardsmen appearing at those pro-war events.
