You must agree, however, that he chose to use this forum as a venue for expressing his positions.  Many of us here certainly agree with most of them, but on one as important as this and on which so many of us disagree so strongly, is there anything to be lost through a spirited but polite debate on the subject?

The Internet represents, as Al Gore said last year, the rebirth of Frankin's Marketplace of Ideas.  I'm glad to be but one small part of that if at all possible.
