    It undercuts his oft repeated "we don't torture" crib.  If we don't do it, why does he now need to forbid it?

    On the other hand, he may interpret the new Order as loosely as he did the old one.  I am anxious to see the fine print in either case.

      The White House declined to say whether the CIA currently has a detention and interrogation program, but said that if it did it must adhere to the guidelines outlined in the executive order.

      Uh...huh.
