...in May. She'd been sick for awhile (COPD), was having surgery that was supposed to make it better. She never made it home.

5 years younger. Lost my younger brother in 1980, my son and both parents in the '90s... Sometimes a good laugh is the best medicine. My brother was a guitar player, had a band called "Chuck Roast" (his name was Chuck). When his ashes came back about a week later, we opened the box to transfer them to the urn my SiL had purchased. The container was an army green can, just like a big Spam can. Attached to the side with tape was a can-key. I kid you not!

I didn't stop laughing for two days at the thought that they'd canned him! I even stenciled "Chuck Roast" on the side. Poor Sis-iL never did think it was very funny, but we who'd known him all his life sure did...

For little sister I'm still bursting into tears at odd moments, my heart is heavy and slow, I'm kind of in a mental daze. Miss her. I'll miss her every day for the rest of my life (that's one thing I've learned from death).

Satan himself had a 33% approval rating even as he was booted out of heaven.
