touching base with ya'll. Although it's been many years since I've regularly gone to meetings, it's rather like riding a bike -- you remember.
What struck me was how like 12 step meetings the entire convention was: shared experiences bringing the most unlikely people together in friendship.
May your coffee pots forever overflow!
(I'd post pictures, but (1) I haven't edited them, and (2) there is that anonomity thing. And how did I get home without a picture of Eddie C?)

The reason you did not get a photo of me is that I always run away from cameras. See what I mean;

Hiding right there.
Outta here, I don't deal well with sites that condone racism.

You may be snarking but that is one face that I should have given credit to.
Everybody may not know that happy face and who deserves more credit that George Lakoff?
I tell you who, the people in the first two photos but I doubt anyone that comes to the diaries will not recognize Markos and Gina.
I really am camera shy but those were three people I was proud to stand beside for a pic.
Here’s another;
Of course that’s Ned Lamont and look I even have a different shirt on.

and I'm so happy that your garden blogging went so well. You're right about unlikely people coming together in both small and large communities. I know there is such a richness in shared experience and I'm glad that I could experience it.
I have the same issue as you with pictures. In other diaries they'd be fine I think. It is a bit shocking that you don't have a picture of Eddie but perhaps he always had his camera going when you had yours out.
Here's some simple advice: Always be yourself. Never take yourself too seriously. And beware of advice from experts, pigs, and members of Parliament. Kermit

I was sure I had one of him, so I didn't take one, KWIM?
Did the same thing with cskendrick. Plus I have a problem with getting to talking with people, and forgetting to take the damned pictures!
