This is disappointing that an agreement could not be worked out.  The domestic auto-makers are already doing poorly and this strike will do nothing but make the position of the auto-makers worse, while putting a lot of strain on the workers who will be missing their paychecks.  I hope that a settlement can be reached quickly for the sake of all involved.
