... on Wolf Blitzer's CNN Show in a few minutes. I think on the 5pm edition of the show.
If you have access to a tv at work, check it out.
Good letter, Jim.

I'm TIVOing the rest of the program just in case, though.
Thanks for the compliment.

Translation: He's keeping his options open.
Translation: I'm not impressed -- so far.
Subliminal Translation: Wolf, you've got to be kidding me!
He again pointed to the urgency of the world-wide situation, mentioned the arctic ice cap melting faster than predicted, and that China was amenable to the Kyoto Treaty.
He repeated his previous statements that persuading the rest of the world required US leadership.

Thank God he's estroying the meme that "he will endorse a candidate", which originated a while ago from an interniew with an obscure website and generated a "who will Gore endorse?" article in the NYT. Hehe. Such control of his own message. Don't you just love him?

is the news from this interview, since the "news" that he planned to endorse had been spread around like manure before this. Good on Al for squashing that one.

The smile on his face when Wolf tried to press him on it was priceless!
I remember after that interview where he was asked and I don't think ready for the answer on endorsing he said he might in the future and now he said he might not at all.
His way of talking was definitely not the way someone would talk if they were out for good.
And he did NOT stand up for Hillary at all like Wolf wanted him to. That was very obvious.
