    I love the wayback machine and use it frequently. Seems somehow strange now that in the early days of DKos there were were only a couple fornt-page posts each day.

      into the search field, make sure the time frame is large enough (4 years), and you'll get all the posts from election day, 2004, for example. You can also broaden it to sid="2004/11" or sid=2004 , with additional search terms added on, like

      sid=2003 Dean

      Prof. McCain
      Iraq is to Pakistan's rear,
      While Czechoslovakia's here.
      Sunnis are Shi'a,
      Sudan is Somalia,
      and Putin's the German premier.
