That is the point exactly.  As the Mahatma put it:

non-co-operation with evil is as much a duty as is co-operation with good.

Thoreau, who helped inspire Gandhi, wrote in Civil Disobedience of a citizen's duty:

when... oppression and robbery are organized... it is not too soon for honest men to rebel and revolutionize.

The government of Israel claims to act in my name and on my behalf.  I have a duty to do my best to prevent it from committing oppression.
