It's just the plain truth.

You may believe that what he does support is JUST AS GOOD, but if it's not marriage, then it's "separate but equal."

    Please show me where Jeff Merkley has ever advocated issuing marriage licenses to same sex couples.
    
    Repealing DOMA is not the same thing - that takes us back to local option.
