If there is something in this article about someone who couldn't afford life support and the conservatives jumping into help pay for it, I can't seem to find it.

It was about someone who couldn't afford life support and the conservatives did not jump into help pay for it? Because I couldn't find anything about anyone not being able to afford life support.

financial need. But it makes the point that Repubs are not consistent in their position on family rights/life support. None of them stood up against this law when they took that baby off of life support. You can dang betcha there were $$ signs in their heads among other things.

I get that. I was just confused because the diarist asked:
what would have happened to Terri Schiavo had the whole family agreed to keep her alive, but couldn't afford the life support? Would the conservatives have been as quick to jump in and help out, or would they have told the family to stop mooching off of the taxpayers?
And DemLuntz answered yes with a link to that article. So I was looking for an example that answered the diarist's question.

Luntz is BIG on interpretation. He should write those reading comprehension passages and questions on standardized tests. ;)
