The presidency isn't the only seat of power. In fact, the power lies with the people. The President works for us. The most important person isn't Bush, but the people who coordinated and organized conservatives. Just as Al Gore learned to coordinate and organize environmentalists.

If Edwards were to remain a private citizen the rest of his life, I know he would still make a big difference.
